  • Light: Scindapsus plants prefer bright, indirect light, but can tolerate low light levels. Too much direct light can burn the leaves. If the leaves have brown spots, the plant may need more light.
    
  • Water: Water the plant when the top of the soil is 50–75% dry. Water thoroughly until water drains out of the pot, then empty any excess water. Avoid letting the soil remain wet, as this can cause the roots to rot. Water more often in brighter light and less often in lower light.
