The Alocasia 'Purple Sword' (Lauterbachiana) is a strikingly shaped alocasia, with elongated, wavy- sword shaped leaves. This alocasia is native to southeast Asia, prefering warm humid environments. This plant displays unpredictable marbeling of creamy variegation.

This plant does best in bright, indirect light, high humidity and watered when the top inch or two of soil is dry.
